New Book on Henry Darger out |
| |
Henry Darger, a critical reappraisal of the self-taught American master, is published and now distributed worldwide by Prestel Publishing. The volume features an introductory essay by Klaus Biesenbach, Chief Curator of Media at MoMA, which locates Henry Darger for the first time as a central figure in the history of contemporary art. Contributions by Brooke Davis Anderson, from the American Folk Art Museum, and Michael Bonesteel illuminate Darger's working method and source materials and present Darger's life through the context of his work. This volume will have 304 pages and approximately 275 illustrations.
